Do you have any books you would like to suggest or recommend to others in the group? Add your suggestions in the comments below. Please let us know why you are recommending it. Is it something you have already read? is it something you have heard good things about? Is it a about a subject you are interested in?

You can choose any books with an LGBT theme. Novels, Non-fiction, Biographies, anything with an LGBT theme.

We might be able to choose some of the suggestions for the book club, or you might just want to recommend for others.

We are open to all and our book suggestions follow an LGBT theme. We meet to discuss the chosen book which is relevant to our shared culture, history and heritage. Books can range from popular culture to academic, we will aim to have a mix for all readers.

  2. I would suggest Straight Jacket : How to be gay and happy. It’s a really interesting read and bang up to date. It looks at the issues around why a disproportionate number of lgbtq+ people suffer from mental health issues.
